Africa-Press – Seychelles. Air Seychelles has signed an agreement with Airbus to adopt its Flight Hour Services – Fleet Technical Management (FTM) solution, aiming to boost the operational efficiency of its A320neo fleet.
Under the deal, Airbus will assist the national carrier of the Republic of Seychelles with Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) functions. This includes engineering support for the airline’s maintenance control centre, as well as proactive measures to enhance fleet reliability and lower maintenance costs – all while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
Dr. Michael Agathine, Air Seychelles’ head of technical operations, said: “We are excited to optimise our fleet performance with these enhanced services by partnering with Airbus. At Air Seychelles, we take safety and efficiency very seriously and this partnership underlines our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in our operations.”
Air Seychelles have been operating the Airbus A320 aircraft since 2012, which has been playing a pivotal role in strengthening commercial aviation in the country.

The selection of Airbus’ FTM services will leverage on Airbus’ unique engineering expertise to reduce unplanned maintenance, lower engineering and administration activities for our customer and less operational interruption ensuring increased aircraft availability.”
