Bel Ombre has a new district administration office which was officially opened in a short ceremony yesterday afternoon.
The unveiling of the commemorative plaque was done by President Wavel Ramkalawan and Minister for Local Government and Community Affairs, Rose-Marie Hoareau, while the cutting of the ribbon was performed by President Ramkalawan, Minister Hoareau, former member of the National Assembly for Bel Ombre, Sandy Arissol, and former district administrator for Bel Ombre, Tahiri Laurencine.
