Africa-Press – Seychelles. A group of police officers yesterday afternoon received a special key aboard the ship “Logos Hope” which was on its last day of its visit to Seychelles.
This is after the captain of the ship, Dirk Colenbrander, made a special request to join the group of police officers and the Seychelles Coast Guard who participated in the rescue and search operation to find one of his workers, who was reported missing in the sea at Port Lanuay Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Captain Colenbrander sincerely thanked the Seychelles Police and the Seychelles Coast Guard for the search work they did where they succeeded in finding the body of the worker, which will bring relief to the family and the ship’s crew in this difficult time.
Captain Colenbrander also presented a ‘token’ to Assistant Superintendent Marcus Jean as a sign of appreciation and gratitude to the group of police officers and the Seychelles Coast Guard who undertook the search operation.
The Seychelles Coast Guard officers were not present for this visit.
