In his inaugural remarks, the new chairperson, Mr Bastienne, thanked the members present for the trust placed in him by voting him into the chairperson’s position.

He also had words of encouragement for his newly elected members and also appreciation for the founder members who had served on the previous executive committee.

Mr Bastienne also shared his immediate thoughts about the strategic direction of Care, including the wish to engage and involve the executive committee and other registered members in a more active way in the Care mission through different working groups or sub-committees.

Following the election, the new chairperson led the AGM through the other matters on the agenda.

Care would like to extend warm congratulations and best wishes to Mr Bastienne and the other members of the new executive committee for a successful tenure of office, assuring them of its full support all the way.
