Africa-Press – Seychelles. “I was filled with an emotion I can’t describe.”

Born and raised in Bel Air, Constable Heather Japha recently gained public attention after saving the life of a person in danger over the weekend. Speaking with our newspaper, she recounted that “I was filled with an emotion I can’t describe” after this courageous act.

At only 20 years old, Heather completed her elementary school at Bel Eau School, followed by high school in Belonie and Perseverance Island. “For my post-secondary studies, I had chosen to become a teacher. But then I changed my mind and joined the police academy. This change was due to the fact that I wanted to join the ‘family squad’ within the police force for the protection of children.”
