Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Supreme Court of Seychelles is to give its decision regarding the detention of the property belonging to accused Mukesh and Laura Valabhji, following a request to extend the detention order for a further sixty days.
The couple appeared in court yesterday morning, and stated that they will object to the said application, although court extended the detention period for a further 60 days, subject to determination of the objections by Mr and Mrs Valabhji which have not yet been filed.
Mr and Mrs Valabhji filed their written arguments in support of the earlier application regarding usage of the access road and other incidental matters in respect of the detained property.
Commissioner of Police, represented by the Office of the Attorney General, asked court for time to file their written arguments in response to the arguments.
The parties will appear before the Court on November 25, 2022 to decide on all these matters.
