Having arrived at the end of this mission in Madagascar, Dr. Lunez Jude Padayachy, country director of the United Nations Joint Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) was recently elevated to the rank of Chevalier of the Malagasy National Order during a ceremony chaired by GCA Richard Rakotonirina, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
This awarding of honor marks the recognition of the President of the Republic, Andry Rajoelina and of the Malagasy State for its commitment to meet the challenges in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Madagascar on the other hand.
The minister did not fail to praise his personal qualities that allowed them to effectively carry out this mission in Madagascar despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the international situation that prevailed in recent months.
