Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Health Care Agency (HCA) has announced the introduction of extended opening hours at the English River health centre (ERHC) to address the growing demand for accessible out-of- hours healthcare services.
Effective from Monday October 2, 2023, the ERHC will extend opening hours on weekdays and weekends from 8am to 10pm.
With these extended hours, patients will have increased flexibility to access the following services:
The Ministry of Health (MoH) strongly encourages the public to take advantage of these new opening hours and utilise EHRC’s out-of-hours services in preference to the Seychelles Hospital’s casualty department, for non-urgent care.
In addition to offering convenience, these extended hours will also help to alleviate pressures of non-urgent attendances at the Seychelles Hospital’s casualty department.
