Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Kreol Festival Committee has revealed the new schedule for the 37th edition of the event that started on Monday, October 3 and will continue until Monday, October 31.
This film was revealed by its creator, renowned artist Urny Mathiot, during a press conference last year at the International Conference Center.
Mr. Mathiot said that his concept was to bring a Creole family of all races and colors where we go out and see the authentic atmosphere.
He added that this work demonstrates different activities within the framework of the Creole Festival, such as the Creole Mass and the Fon Lanmal, and even the baptism of dolls.
“This show demonstrates the strength and ability of local artists who can show their talent, ability and experience,” he said.
“We see that artists can produce works that are at the same level as international artists. Local artists are really talented and I got this opportunity that I used and I proved that I can deliver as a local artist.
Mr. Mathiot also thanked photographer Marsha Dine who also worked on this project.
