Africa-Press – Seychelles. Since the introduction of Maz Millions in June 2018 by siblings Marie-France McGregor and Allen Laporte, 35 Seychellois have become millionaires with many others receiving varied cash prizes.
Since May 2022, with the introduction of Maz Millions 6/37, eight people have become millionaires with thousands receiving other prizes.
“It is working well so far and with Maz Millions, those selling the tickets also benefit from it. They receive 10% commission and those who sell the winning ticket receive a sale commission going up to R100,000.”
For the owners of the lottery company, “the most satisfying moment is to see how the cash prizes bring hope to people. There are some who have repaired their homes, helped their children or even invested in new ventures. We know so many stories and so many people cried when they won.”
Since December 2022, the company launched their online service and in fact the last star prize winner of Maz 6/37 bought her ticket online.
Another major change will be as from Monday January 9, 2023. “The R500 ticket has been readjusted to R200 per ticket and the draw will be on Saturday with a star prize of R2,000,000. The draw will also change place to allow the public to participate in our draw. Our system is clear and open and we welcome anybody to check our information. All information are recorded. I would like to thank all those playing Maz Millions and we are happy to see how the lottery helped created a family. We are good with our customers and try to give them the best service. We keep receiving warm messages from our clients and the one that touched our heart is that: ‘Maz Millions you are our beacon of hope!’ And I think we are succeeding in doing that for many,” concluded Mrs McGregor.
The close family members of the co-owners confirmed that they do not play Maz Millions.
Maz Millions is a lottery company based in Seychelles and owned by Seychellois.
