Africa-Press – Seychelles. Mr Dogley accepting the donation from a representative of SAWD
The Next Step group comprising different singers led by Sonny Dogley has had a good start to the new year and will be able to realise its various voluntary activities and health awareness campaigns now that it has received support from SAWD, a company that specialises in sliding aluminium windows and doors based at Providence.
“This year we are planning to do more voluntary work on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue as well as take part in different health awareness campaigns among other projects we have lined up,” Mr Dogley pointed out.
Thanking the managing director of SAWD, Dave Solin, for his continued support and assistance to the group, Mr Dogley is calling on more companies to come forward and assist the Next Step group in its different activities.
He noted that in collaboration with the English River DA’s office they will soon organise to clean the area at Ile du Port near Espace Building and also have some litter bins placed in the area.
Next Step will be on La Digue on February 4 to support the Cancer Day activities there.
Additionally in collaboration with a group of Diguois, the group is also organising to give the grotto at Grand Anse, La Digue a fresh coat of paint.
Meanwhile Mr Dogley, on behalf of the group, would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to the different businesses who have supported the group for their continued support and for believing in their contribution to society.
Special thanks goes to Bodco, Glory Security, D&A Maintenance & Air Conditioning as well as Unimoni.
Meanwhile any individual or company who wish to support the group in anyway can get in touch with Mr Dogley on 2541516.
