Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Seychelles Interreligious Council (SIFCO) would like to warmly thank Sister Marie Alice Vivien of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Cluny for her 15 years and five months of dedication to Seychelles.
A luncheon in her honor was organized at the Escale Resort & Spa where she was surprised to welcome the President of the Republic, Wavel Ramkalawan, as well as the First Lady, Linda Ramkalawan, as special guests.
The members of the SIFCO executive committee wished to express their gratitude to Sister Alice for all her efforts in favor of the Seychellois people.
Unfortunately, due to the passage of Cyclone Belal in Mauritius, Sister Alice was unable to leave the Seychelles, scheduled for today and her departure is now scheduled for this Saturday. After two months in Mauritius she will return to her mother house in France.
