Africa-Press – Seychelles. A bus from the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) was involved in an accident on Saturday at Mont Plaisir, Praslin.

According to an official communique from the company, the accident occurred when the bus driver lost control one of the vehicle while driving downhill at Mont Plaisir.

One lady passenger was transported to hospital for treatment and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of accident.

The same day, an update on the accident from the Seychelles Police said that the lady passenger, aged 50, had been released from the hospital.

“It has been established that the bus was coming from Mont Plaisir towards Anse Kerlan when the bus driver lost control of the bus due to slippery road and the bus hit a tree. When the accident happened there was only two passengers in the bus,” the police communiqué said.
