Africa-Press – Seychelles. The Seychelles Police Force convened its annual strategic overview session yesterday at The Guy Morel Institute, bringing together officers from across its units to contribute to the development of the Seychelles Police Strategic Plan 2026–2028.
The session featured presentations and open discussions, providing a platform to reflect on achievements, identify areas for improvement, and chart the way forward.
Commissioner of Police Ted Barbe emphasised the importance of collective input, noting that the plan must be grounded in real experiences and reflect perspectives from frontline officers, support staff, and leadership alike.
He highlighted that leaders must be prepared to acknowledge successes, accept weaknesses, and respond with discipline and humility.
“No plan can be made by the mind of one person alone,” he said, stressing the need for teamwork and shared responsibility.
