Africa-Press – Seychelles. Her Excellency Mme Olivia Berkeley-Christman met, last Friday at Maison Quéau de Quinssy, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Monsieur Sylvestre Radegonde, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Seychelles.

During the meeting, Minister Radegonde congratulated the French diplomat for her appointment as French ambassador, hoping that this appointment would contribute to deepening the excellent traditional relations of cooperation and friendship shared by the two countries.

Convinced that the two countries have great potential, the two diplomatic personalities exchanged views on certain areas of cooperation in order to strengthen bilateral relations and the place of the French language in the country.

Ambassador Berkeley-Christman replaces Ambassador Dominique Mas, whose mandate ended last September and who was pleased with the strength of diplomatic relations between the two countries established since June 29, 1976.
