This exhibition was part of the celebration for the children in the month of Zen.

According to Sergeant Margaret Thelemaque, they made this exhibition to sensitize members of the public and schools, especially, about the things that are happening and affecting families and children and the preventive measures that can be taken to prevent such actions from happening family and children in the country take place.

“People who are aware of any rumors that are happening around them can tell us, even without letting us know who they are, and we will react to these reports. Our biggest goal is that we want people to join us to prevent these cases from happening. As we see it is starting to increase and we want to bring it down. Christian Payet, a 16-year-old student from S5 Belonie school, said that the exhibition is a good initiative that the police have taken to sensitize people so that they will better understand the types of crimes that are happening and this will give them meaning. also to think before doing such actions.

“There was a case against me a while ago when I was in S3 and I decided to go there and I got a good ‘deal’. I really appreciate your work,” Christian said.

This exhibition ended on the 3rd afternoon.

Fodre notes that the child protection section looks at the case of children from zero to 14 years old and for the family for those who are 15 years old and older.

Among the cases of abuse that they deal with is sexual abuse, physical abuse, bad behavior, indecent cases, cyber threats, among others.
