Africa-Press – Seychelles. Construction work has resumed on the new SBC House at Union Vale since mid December after coming to a stop in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in May 2020.
The officer responsible for the project, Dereck Rioux, has said that work on the project resumed mid December after they received two groups of foreign workers.
He noted that at present there are around 30 employees on site and that they are expecting another group of between 35 and 40 employees before the end of March.
He said currently the ongoing work is focusing on plastering and the roofing structures.
The roofing work is expected to be completed by the end of February while the whole plastering is expected to be done with by mid April, Mr Rioux said.
Meanwhile he has estimated the whole project to be completed by the end of September this year if everything goes according to plan.
