Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Leone Stars Captain, Steven Caulker’s Reading FC have been relegated from the Sky Bet Championship Championship.
The team will now play in League 1 after Huddersfield beat Sheffield United on Thursday 4 May. Reading’s relegation means they will be playing in the third tier for the first time in 21 years.
The Sierra Leonean international signed a half year deal with Wigan Athletic, managed by former Ivorian international Kolo Touré.Wigan confirmed the signing of Leone Stars captain Steven Caulker, a deal that runs until the end of the 2022/2023 season campaign.
