Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has on Thursday, 17th April, 2025 published the final examination timetable for the National Primary School Examination scheduled for Saturday, 3rd May, 2025.
The one-day examination will be held in two phases, commencing the first phase in the morning with the subjects, Quantitative Aptitude, Mathematics, and General Paper, which will be taken between 9:00 a.m., and 12:10 p.m.
Immediately after taking the first three subjects, as provided in the timetable, the candidates will be allowed to take a one-hour break from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m.
In the second phase of the examination, which will be held in the afternoon hours, the candidates will sit to three subjects within Two Hours Forty minutes (2 hrs 40 minutes). As highlighted in the timetable, the subjects would be Verbal Aptitude, English 1, and English II.
The examination council strongly warned, “Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.”
