Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has officially released a list of designated National Officers responsible for overseeing the upcoming Regional Party Executive Elections.
The announcement, which was made public today, 18th June, 2025, outlined the appointed officers for each region across the country.
In the Eastern Region, which includes Kenema, Kailahun, and Kono Districts, Alhassan George has been appointed as the Returning Officer, with Rosamond Mattia serving as a Member.
For the Southern Region, encompassing the districts of Bo, Bonthe, Moyamba, and Pujehun, Dr. Prince Alex Harding will act as the Returning Officer, while Francis A. Kallon has been designated as a Member.
In the Northwest Region, which consists of Kambia, Karene, and Port Loko Districts, the appointed officers are Alhajie Alpha Kallon as Returning Officer and Dr. Robert Chankanda as a Member.
The Northeast Region, covering Bombali, Falaba, Koinadugu, and Tonkolili Districts, has designated Desmond Pessima has been named Returning Officer along with Ibrahim Fayia Sawaneh, a Member.
For the Western Region, which includes both the Western Urban and Western Rural areas, Lawrence Lahai Leema has been named Returning Officer, with Dwight Satbyghor Sherif as a Member.
