Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Dutch club Feyenoord has completed the signing of Alex Kalokoh, a 15-year-old striker with Sierra Leonean roots, from the PSV Academy.
The deal will keep him at the club until mid-2028.
Kalokoh, who will join Feyenoord Under-17 after the summer, was joined by family and friends at the official signing in De Kuip earlier this week. After signing, he thanked the club for their trust and said he looks forward to growing as a player in Rotterdam.
Kalokoh began his youth career at VVV-Venlo, then moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany before joining PSV in 2023. During his time in Eindhoven, he stood out in the youth ranks and earned a call-up to the Dutch Under-15 national team, scoring twice on his debut against Luxembourg.
With experience in three youth academies across the Netherlands and Germany, Kalokoh now begins the next chapter at one of the top clubs in Dutch football.
He is also the younger brother of David Kalokoh, who plays for Ajax U21. The two brothers are now both part of top academies in the Netherlands, raising interest in their football journey and possibly a future meeting on the senior stage.
Kalokoh was born in Sierra Leone and is one of many young Sierra Leonean players now making their way in European football.
