Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Director General, Human Resource Management Office, Mr. Ansu Samuel Tucker, has, on behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub, Kazakhstan, Mr. Alikhan Baimenov.
The signing event took place in the Republic of Kazakhstan, where the Director General participated as a distinguished Speaker in the International ” GovHR Forum: New Systems, Modern Services, Novel Solutions held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The MOU aims to establish a cooperative relationship through mutual assistance in public administration, civil service, and research activities, particularly in joint educational and research endeavors, as well as cooperation with faculty members and fellows for research, lectures, discussions, participation in seminars, and academic meetings.
Furthermore, the MOU also aims at exchanging academic materials, publications, information, and short-term training programs.
During the forum, the Director General held a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of the Kazakhstan Civil Service Agency, which culminated in the signing of the memorandum between Sierra Leone and Kazakhstan.
