Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Air Sierra Leone announces a new interline agreement with Hahn Air, a strategic move that integrates the Sierra Leonean carrier into Hahn Air’s global network of over 350 partner airlines.
This partnership enables travel agents worldwide to issue Air Sierra Leone tickets under the 61 code using Hahn Air’s HR-169 insolvency-protected ticket through leading Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport.
Furthermore, with this interline agreement, Air Sierra Leone, formally launched in September 2024 with a steadily growing network, becomes more accessible to travel professionals, allowing bookings through standard reservation and ticketing processes. Agents can now efficiently book Air Sierra Leone flights via Hahn Air’s trusted platform, ensuring greater visibility and sales reach across global markets.
“This partnership is a milestone in our mission to connect Sierra Leone to key international destinations,” said Sukh Mann, the Group Chief Operating Officer at Air Sierra Leone. “Through Hahn Air, we can now make our services available to a broader customer base and give travel agents the confidence and convenience of booking with a globally recognized ticketing partner.”
The agreement also reinforces Hahn Air’s ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between airlines and travel agents by offering diverse and secure ticketing solutions. Air Sierra Leone joins a respected group of international carriers already benefiting from Hahn Air’s innovative distribution capabilities.
Headquartered in Freetown, Air Sierra Leone operates direct international flights, including its flagship Freetown-London serviced by a Boeing 737-Max 800, its Freetown-Lagos routes serviced by an Embraer 145 aircraft, with more routes plus connections into Freetown to be announced in due time. The airline is committed to connecting West Africa to key global destinations while offering passengers safe, comfortable, and reliable travel experiences.
