Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President, Babadi Kamara, has paid a courtesy visit to the FIFA Regional Office in Rabat, Morocco, where he held high-level discussions on strengthening football development in Sierra Leone.
President Kamara met with Elhaj Wack Diop, Head of the FIFA Regional Office, and Development Manager Fatou Camara.
The engagement focused on Sierra Leone’s football growth strategy, with emphasis on competitions, youth development, and infrastructure expansion across the country.
He also updated FIFA officials on his first 100 days in office, outlining key reforms and progress made in restructuring the football administration and promoting accountability and development-driven programs.
The visit forms part of President Kamara’s official trip to Morocco, where he is attending the CAF Awards 2025 and holding bilateral meetings, including an engagement with CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe.
The discussions are expected to strengthen partnerships and position Sierra Leone to benefit from global football development initiatives.
