Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone Finance Minister, Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura will on Friday, November 28, 2025, present the Government of Sierra Leone’s FY2026 Budget and the Statement of Economic and Financial Policies to Parliament.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Finance, the presentation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. in the Chamber of Parliament.
The Ministry said that the Cabinet Ministers and their Deputies, Vote Controllers, Heads of Departments, Agencies and State-Owned Enterprises, as well as representatives of development partners and members of the public, have all been invited to witness the session.
The Ministry further stated that all invited guests are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m. to ensure the smooth running of the proceedings.
Friday’s budget presentation is poised to outline the government’s economic priorities and financial plans for the 2026 fiscal year, marking a key moment in the national policy calendar.
