Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh took the ceremonial kick-off at the grand finale of a community football tournament on Sunday, 23 November 2025, held at the Casablanca Field behind the Aberdeen Road Market.
The match, contested between the Moko Tong and Ferry Road teams, was a highlight of this year’s local sports calendar.
VP Jalloh praised the Milla Football Foundation (MFF) for fostering unity, discipline, and youth empowerment through football. He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting grassroots sports and creating more opportunities for young athletes.
The event attracted a large turnout from the Aberdeen community and surrounding areas, showcasing local talent and the unifying power of sports.
Organizers of the MFF expressed their excitement at the Vice President’s participation in the ceremonial kick-off, noting it as a significant endorsement of their mission.
