CAF Appoints Four Sierra Leonean Referees for Match

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Confederation of African Football CAF has appointed four Sierra Leonean Referees for the CAF Champions League Match in Ghana.

The announcement was made by the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).

According to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed four Sierra Leonean referees to officiate in the CAF Champions League match between Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Wydad AC of Morocco.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana. The appointed match officials are as follows: Center Referee (CR): Mohamed Buzin Koroma, Assistant Referee 1 (AR1): Mamoud Alie Conteh, Assistant Referee 2 (AR2): Alusine Conteh, and Reserve Referee (RR): Rashid M. Conteh.

“This prestigious appointment reflects CAF’s growing confidence in Sierra Leone’s refereeing standards and underscores the SLFA’s continued commitment to developing top-quality match officials capable of performing at the highest level on the continent.” Stated SLFA.

Finally, the SLFA congratulates the quartet on this remarkable achievement and wishes them great success as they proudly represent Sierra Leone on the continental stage.
