The Ministry of Finance has announced that the Honourable Minister of Finance, Mr. Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, will deliver the Fiscal Year 2025 Supplementary Government Budget and Statement of Economic and Financial Policies on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The presentation will take place in the Chamber of Parliament at 10:00 a.m.
According to a public notice issued by the Ministry, the budget speech will outline key updates and adjustments to the government’s economic and financial plans for the remainder of the fiscal year.
The event is open to a wide range of stakeholders, including Vote Controllers, Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), State-Owned Enterprises, Development Partners, NGOs, District Budget Oversight Committee Members, Local Community Representatives, Civil Society Organisations, and members of the general public.
All guests are kindly requested to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
The Ministry has expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation of all stakeholders and encourages broad participation to promote transparency and public accountability in fiscal governance.
