Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Heavy fire has burnt down houses at Funkia Community, Goderich, Western Area of Freetown, in the afternoon hours of Sunday 25 December 2022.
It is reported that bad electricity caused the fire accident.
It is also reported that several houses have been burnt down as the National Fire Force was not around to salvage the situation. The Fire Force truck that was sent to put out the fire involved in a gruesome road accident at Lumley.
This is the third fire accident that has been reported today, following other incidents at Saint Mary’s Supermarket and Cline Town Kanikay Community in the East End of Freetown.
