Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone Premier League side, Freetonians SLIFA have decided to lift their suspension from the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League season.
The club made this known in a press release dated 30 January, 2023 signed by their Executive Committee.
Referencing Article 45 of the Constitution of the Sierra Leone Football Association, SLIFA noted that they have decided to lift their suspension with immediate effect and honouring their match against Luawa FC at the parade playing ground on Monday 30 January 2023.According to SLIFA, the decision was taken by the President and his executive members with the entire Referees Association, Premier League Board as well as the club chairman and secretaries in a three days consultative meeting.
They assured that their Club remains focused and appreciative for the new found understanding with stakeholders in the league.
