Sierra Leone’s main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) presidential aspirant, Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, donated over Le 1 billion as a support for the expansion of the Bai Bureh Memorial Hall in Port Loko, Northwest Province of Sierra Leone.

The donation, amounting to Le 1,187,500,000 (One billion, one hundred and eighty-seven million, five hundred thousand leones), was announced at a grand fundraising event aimed at funding the hall’s expansion in preparation for the All People’s Congress (APC) Party’s National Delegates Conference scheduled for 2028.

Jagaban, a prominent figure within the APC and a leading flagbearer aspirant for the upcoming presidential election, has been widely recognised for his strong leadership skills and organizational capabilities.

His generous contribution to the project has sparked widespread admiration from party members, supporters, and local residents alike. The expansion of the Bai Bureh Memorial Hall, a key venue in Port Loko, will provide the necessary space to accommodate the growing number of delegates and guests expected at the APC National Delegates Conference.

The donation was made during a highly attended ceremony that saw significant support from the community. Party officials and local stakeholders expressed their gratitude for Jagaban’s commitment to the development of the party’s regional infrastructure.
