These programs are strategically designed to tackle crucial issues faced by students in their day-to-day lives, including realistic self-expression, drug abuse, and the negative impact of social media.
According to E Kellie and M Kellie, CEOs of the Kellie Foundation, school sensitisation programs play a pivotal role in educating and empowering students to make informed decisions about their well-being. By equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate these pressing issues, the foundation aims to facilitate their journey towards leading healthy and fulfilling lives.
The CEOs emphasized the importance of realistic self-expression as a fundamental aspect of personal growth and development. They highlighted that many students struggle to discover their authentic selves and express their thoughts and emotions effectively. Therefore, the sensitisation programs aim to assist students in understanding the significance of staying true to themselves and expressing their feelings in a healthy and positive manner.
Furthermore, the Kellie Foundation addresses the growing concern of drug abuse among young people. Recognizing that many students are susceptible to experimenting with drugs or falling into addiction, the foundation aims to educate students about the dangers of substance abuse and provide them with the necessary resources and support to prevent misuse and make informed decisions.
