The victory at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex keeps their hopes of reaching the African playoffs alive.

The Leone Stars took the lead in the 37th minute when midfielder Ibrahim Kamarra scored with a powerful volley from inside the box. The home team went into halftime with a 1-0 advantage after a first half that saw both sides struggle to create clear-cut opportunities.
