Leone Stars Team-B Manager Boosts SLFA With Match Balls

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Newly appointed Team Manager of Sierra Leone’s senior B Team, Alhaji Umar Bah, on Saturday, 2nd July 2022 presented One Hundred match balls to the General Secretary of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Christopher Kamara. The presentation was done in the conference room of SLFA.

Presenting the balls, the Business tycoon, Regent Olympic chairman, and CEO of Sierra Bauxite Mining Company, started by expressing his appreciation to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), for being allowed to serve. ‘’Firstly, I am very grateful to be part of this family. Thanks to the FA for the trust and confidence repose on me to give to national service’’, he said.

‘’I am here today to fulfill what I promised some time ago. I gave my word that as long as I am part of the football family, whatever little I have to help that will develop the game, I will try to do it”, he maintained.Team Manager Alhaji went on to announce a gesture of One Hundred football to the Football Association of which fifty is to go to youth football, while the rest be shared amongst the senior teams (both male and female).

Upon receiving the gesture from TM Bah on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Sierra of the SLFA, General Secretary, Christopher Kamara, lauded Mr. Bah for what he described as a laudable venture.

“On behalf of the Executive Committee of the SLFA and all of us here at the FA, I want to say thanks to you for this kind gesture. We’re very pleased, this shows we made no mistake in appointing you Team Manager of the Leone B team after doing a thorough background check”, he avers.Chris Kamara went on to assure team manager Umar Bah that the items donated will be used for the intended purposes.

He ended by wishing the team manager and the players of the B-Team the best of luck in their CAN preliminary outing against Cape Verde in Morocco three weeks from now.
