Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Milton Margai Technical University (MMTU) has announced the availability of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year, inviting suitably qualified applicants to enroll in various educational programs.
The announcement was made by the management of the institution, highlighting a range of courses designed for aspiring educators.
The programs open for application include the Teachers Certificate (T.C), Early Childhood for T.C, Higher Teachers Certificate (H.T.C) for Primary and Secondary levels, and the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
Each program has specific entry requirements. For the Teachers Certificate and Early Childhood for T.C, applicants need at least one subject or better at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or O-Level.
The Higher Teachers Certificate for Primary requires two credits at WASSCE or O-Level in no more than two sittings, while the Secondary level requires four credits under the same conditions.
Candidates for the Bachelor of Education must possess five credits at WASSCE or O-Level in no more than two sittings, or four credits plus a Higher Teachers Certificate in Secondary education.
The university has set the processing fees for the application forms at NLE 300 (three hundred leones) for certificate courses and NLE 400 (four hundred leones) for the Bachelor of Education program.
