Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Sierra Leone striker Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as “Musa Tombo,” is poised to sign a three-year contract with Tunisian club, CS Sfaxien.
Reliable sources have confirmed to Pan-African Football that the transfer agreement has been finalised, allowing Kamara to make the move to the Tunisian side. The signing is reportedly scheduled for Wednesday, July 16.
At 25 years old, Musa Tombo is expected to offer a wealth of experience to CS Sfaxien, having previously played for clubs including AIK Fritong and East End Lions, where he was the top scorer with 15 goals in 2019.
His career also includes stints at Al-Ittihad Tripoli in Libya and two separate periods with Bo Rangers. Kamara has been a key icon of the Sierra Leone national team since 2018.
The management of Club Sportif Sfaxien has expressed confidence in Kamara’s potential to significantly contribute to the team’s success.
They believe that his skills and experience will be vital in helping the club achieve its goals in both domestic and continental competitions.
Founded in 1928, CS Sfaxien, also known as CSS, is based in Sfax, Tunisia. They play their home matches at the Taieb Mehiri Stadium, which has a capacity of 22,000 spectators. They finished in 7th with last season with 44 points in Tunisian top tier.
