NGC Launches Campaign in Kambia

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. On Saturday, May 27th, 2023, the National Grand Coalition Party (NGC) initiated their campaign for Parliamentary and Local Council seats, as well as their Presidential candidate in Kambia District.

Thousands of NGC Party members and supporters gathered in Kambia town, showcasing their unwavering dedication to the party and demonstrating the NGC’s stronghold in the district.

Honorable Yumkella, the Leader of the NGC Party, addressed the enthusiastic crowd, expressing his delight at being among them and extending gratitude for their unwavering support of the NGC Party’s ideals and principles. He urged the attendees to maintain their belief in the NGC and to ensure a resounding victory for President Bio, who represents the Progressive Alliance as the presidential candidate.

Honorable KKY proclaimed that the Alliance was the greatest development in Sierra Leone and stressed that it would bring the much-anticipated peace, national unity, compassionate inclusive governance, and progress.

He implored all supporters and members to wholeheartedly embrace and work towards the goals of the Strategic Progressive Alliance.

In his speech, Honorable Yumkella took the opportunity to deliver an exclusive message to the presidential candidate and running mate of the APC party, Dr. Samura Kamara and Chericoco, respectively.

He called on them to publicly disassociate themselves from Adebayor, a notorious social media personality known for targeting women with derogatory language over the past three years.

Honorable KKY asserted that if the APC duo genuinely aspired to lead the country, they must denounce such behavior.

He further criticized Dr. Samura Kamara, stating that he had been involved in the financial management of the country for over 50 years, including heading strategic financial institutions.

Honorable KKY held Dr. Kamara 50% responsible for the economic challenges the nation had faced, to the extent that the previous APC government had implemented austerity measures.

He concluded that someone who had been unable to resolve these issues in the past five decades was not fit to tackle them now.

Honorable Yumkella urged the people of Kambia to exercise wisdom and not be swayed by the falsehoods and misinformation spread by the APC party. He assured them that through the Progressive Alliance, Kambia would witness enduring and substantial development that would benefit all citizens. Honorable KKY confidently declared that the Alliance had already secured victory in the upcoming election, predicting a first-round triumph.
