Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The National Sports Authority (NSA) has officially congratulated Sierra Leone’s Senior National Football Team, known as the Sierra Queens, for their remarkable achievement in winning the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) A Women’s Cup 2025.
The team secured a historic 1-0 victory over Senegal in the final held in Mauritania.
In a statement released by the NSA, it was emphasized that the unwavering support from the government for the female Premier League has significantly contributed to the development of a stronger national female football team.
