Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Parliamentarians have expressed deep sorrow over the sudden loss of the lawmaker, highlighting his commitment to national development and service to his constituents.

In his tribute, Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Abdul Kargbo, described the late MP as a dedicated advocate for progress in Kambia District, noting that he had initiated projects worth over a billion Leones for the community. “Hon. Ernest has launched many projects for his people. This loss is a reminder for all MPs to remain vigilant, especially regarding road safety,” he said.

Acting Leader of Government Business, Hon. Bashiru Silikie, lauded Hon. Dura Koroma’s devotion to parliamentary duties and committee work, adding that Parliament would deeply miss his contributions. He also extended condolences to the families of former MPs, Hon. Patricia Browne and Hon. Helen Kuyembeh, and urged colleagues to maintain unity and care for one another.
