Popular Journalist Recommends Cabinet Portfolio For KKY, David Francis, Others’

Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Renowned journalist and commentator, Amadu Lamrana Bah, has recently expressed his recommendations for key cabinet portfolios within the government of Sierra Leone.

In a thought-provoking statement, Bah proposed a lineup of appointments that he believes would effectively address the country’s pressing agricultural challenges.

Bah’s recommendations included Dr. Kandeh Yumkella for the position of Minister of Agriculture and Feed the Nation, emphasizing his expertise and track record in the field. Yumkella, a widely respected figure in Sierra Leone, has a deep understanding of the agricultural sector and is known for his commitment to sustainable development.

Furthermore, Bah suggested Jacob Jusu Saffa as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Feed The Nation I, and Prof. David Francis as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Feed The Nation II. He proposed that one deputy should be assigned to the South East region, while the other would serve in the North West region, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the country.

Bah’s rationale behind these recommendations stems from his belief that this particular team would effectively tackle the long-standing “Bread and Butter” issue that has plagued Sierra Leone. By entrusting key positions to individuals with proven experience and knowledge in the agricultural sector, Bah asserts that these appointments would pave the way for substantial progress in addressing food security and economic stability.

“If only it was going to please me as it pleases President Bio, these are the appointments I will make…

Minister of Agriculture and Feed the Nation, Dr. Kandeh Yumkella. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Feed The Nation I, Jacob Jusu Saffa. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Feed The Nation II, Prof. David Francis. Send one Deputy to the South East and one to the North West.

We are well and good. With this team, we go address Bread and Butter issue once and for all. FreetownStories”

  1. Amadu Lamrana Bah, not that there is anything funny about this, but you are a joker. It is interesting the three people that you selected and promoted for positions in this new illegitimate government that stole the election. KKY is more of a climate expert than an agricultural expert and a new ministry has been created for him as a reward for selling out and destroying his party. He had a party that had seats in parliament and now that party has been decimated because of his selfishness and treachery, hopefully, he is not removed in short order in some sort of reshuffling, when things don’t work out, which with this stolen government, things will soon not start working out. The good news for him is there is no need to remove him from position that was created just for him. Hopefully, he gets to plant lots of trees because lets face it, as a climate minister in our country, right now, there isn’t much he can do. I hope the destruction of his party was worth it, for him to call himself a minister. You also suggested David Francis and Jusu Saffa. If Bio himself has seen it fit to not reappoint his best friends whom he grew up with, why are you even bothering? Is this brown envelope journalism? Did this two know they weren’t going to be reappointed and asked you to write this nonsense? Have we forgotten the Chinese rice scandal. David Francis stole rice that was donated for poor kids in school and this is whom you think should be reappointed. You have issues and the brown envelope journalism is just too obvious. They have been left out of government and instead of writing that they should be appointed, you should be writing an article on why Bio left them out, what did they do or fail to do?
