Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. A fire outbreak has been reported in the Portee community of Freetown.
According to eyewitnesses, the blaze was caused by a suspected electrical fault linked to bad electricity supply in the area.
The incident, which occurred earlier today, resulted in the loss of several properties, though no deaths have been reported.
Personnel from the National Fire Force are currently on the scene working to contain the flames.
This incident follows a devastating fire in Portee last month, which left hundreds of residents homeless on April 6, 2025.
