Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima, is currently in the United States, where he attended the grand finale of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The much-anticipated final match saw Chelsea clash with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the iconic MetLife Stadium.
Prior to the final, President Brima joined FIFA President Gianni Infantino and other senior football executives at the tournament’s official closing dinner, where they discussed global football development and future collaborations.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, hosted in the United states across 12 stadiums in 11 cities, brought together 32 of the world’s top football clubs, including Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG, showcasing the highest level of club football on a global stage.
President Brima’s presence at the finals reinforces the SLFA’s commitment to strengthening ties with international football bodies and advancing Sierra Leone’s footprint in the global football community.
