Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone, David Bryan Hunt, recently praised and celebrated the achievements of the U.S. Exchange Alumni during a special event honouring those who have made significant contributions to various sectors in Sierra Leone.
The Sierra Leone United States Alumni Association presented the Alumni Impact Awards to outstanding members for their leadership, innovation, and service in education, health, entrepreneurship, and governance.
Ambassador Hunt commended the awardees, stating, “You are proof of the lasting impact of U.S. exchanges, driving change and strengthening U.S.-Sierra Leone ties.”
The Sierra Leone United States Alumni Association comprises beneficiaries of the U.S. Government’s Cultural Exchange Program.
Its mission is to establish strong partnerships between the citizens and institutions of Sierra Leone and the United States, promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
