Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Popular Sierra Leonean Musician and Celebrity, Zainab Sheriff, visited the Low-Cost Bridge Mosque in the East End of Freetown on Friday, June 27, in an unannounced event aimed at empowering women within the community.
During her visit, Zainab addressed a gathering of community members, emphasizing the need for women to pursue leadership roles in governance.
“It’s time for women to go for different positions and serve the country,” she stated, urging attendees to recognize their potential and capabilities.
Zainab further affirmed that women are just as capable as men in leadership and should be visible in political arenas.
The atmosphere at the mosque was charged with excitement as community members welcomed Zainab, a daughter of the soil, back to her roots.
