371 graduate corps has passed out

Three hundred and seventy-one graduate corps has passed out after completing   twenty-one day training from the National Youth Service 2019 programme that was held at Mission Training Centre at Rogbanba, Hastings.The training was geared towards empowering them to offer adequate service to the nation.

Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura said young people should embrace patriotism and nationalism, noting that they are the ambassadors of change in their communities.

He urged them to put into practice in the various offices they would be deployed.Executive Director National Youth Service Mohamed Jalloh noted that the National Youth Service is a place for human capital development.

He said, they were confident that those who have gone through the training would be self reliant, and as well be the solution agents to the problems facing the nation.

Mr. Jalloh urged various MDAs to give priorities for job opportunities to the graduates.Some of the participants lauded the government and the National Youth Service for giving them the opportunity to learn many beneficial things.

They also registered their confidence to getting a job after the one year period of practice in various MDAs.The National Youth service was established in 2016 by an Act of parliament to reduce the issue of unemployment among graduates from colleges and universities.
