Africa-Press – South-Africa. The Afrika Mayibuye Movement (AMM) has said there is a genuine appetite from South Africans for a new political party.
Mayibuye has also made a bold claim that it will be in government by 2029.
The newly formed party is preparing for its inaugural national convention this week, where it will outline its manifesto and adopt positions on a number of political issues.
with the electoral commission having already over 500 registered political parties, Mayibuye’s first Deputy President, Thato Wa Magogodi, has said they stand out from the rest.
“Today more than 50% of the people eligible to vote do not even set foot on the booth so you already have an illegitimate political system in the minds of the oppressed.”
