Africa-Press – South-Africa. A luxury residential development, Aspire Waterfall City, is launching in one of Gauteng’s fastest-growing mixed-use precincts, featuring high-end amenities, smart living features, and direct access to the Mall of Africa.

Aspire Waterfall City is a new high-end residential development by Tricolt in partnership with Attacq, located at Lisbon Lane in Waterfall City.

The development offers luxury apartments priced from R2.02 million to R4.6 million, with penthouses ranging from R16.16 million to R32.35 million.

Aspire is centred on a lifestyle-driven approach, with amenities including an on-site restaurant, private dining spaces, fire pits and bomas, a gym, leisure pool with a bar, and indoor steam and sauna facilities.

Residents also benefit from direct pedestrian access to the nearby Mall of Africa, the busiest mall in the country.

Designed with a focus on modern living, the apartments incorporate high-speed fibre, backup power and water systems, and app-enabled concierge services.

Security is a key priority for sectional title buyers and residents. As such, Aspire features security features such as basement parking, 24-hour CCTV surveillance, and a dedicated control room.

Additional features include electric vehicle charging bays, storage facilities, and landscaped communal spaces. The development also incorporates sustainable building principles.

Architectural design by Paragon Architects and Paragon Interiors includes two interior schemes – classic and platinum – defined by clean lines and a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

Some of the premium package features include brushed bronze taps and bathroom accessories, full engineered stone cladding to shower upstands, and frameless glass doors to en-suite bathrooms.

Waterfall City itself is one of Gauteng’s fastest-growing mixed-use precincts, strategically positioned between Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The area combines residential, commercial and lifestyle offerings, supported by infrastructure such as the Netcare Waterfall City Hospital, schools like Curro and Reddam House, and transport links including the Gautrain bus network.

With access to major highways, corporate offices, restaurants, and recreational facilities, the precinct offers a self-contained urban environment suited to professionals, families and investors.

The group taking over South Africa’s residential luxury market

Olympus Sandton

Aspire is not the only luxury residential building being developed by Tricolt. Over the last few years, the group has cemented its position as a dominant force in South Africa’s high-end residential market.

Another notable project by the group is the R2 billion Olympus Sandton development, which is being built in partnership with Growthpoint Properties.

Construction officially began in February 2026 at the Sandton Summit precinct, near the Discovery Head Office, with completion expected in early 2028.

The development will feature two towers – Athena and Apollo – comprising 527 luxury apartments priced from R1.79 million to over R45 million.

At launch, 295 units sold over a single weekend, generating R940 million in sales. By the launch date in February, Olympus Sandton has achieved over R1.4 billion in total sales – a record for the Sandton residential market.

Due to this strong demand, the developers decided to consolidate construction phases to push forward the project’s completion.

The development integrates high-end lifestyle features, including an infinity pool, gym, spa facilities, concierge services, and landscaped communal areas.

It will also house a signature dining experience by Marble Hospitality Group, alongside the group’s first hotel offering.

Sustainability is a key focus, with the project targeting a 4-Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa and incorporating energy-efficient design elements.

Strategically located near major commercial and lifestyle nodes such as Nelson Mandela Square and the Gautrain station, Olympus Sandton reflects a broader shift towards integrated, high-density luxury living.
