Africa-Press – South-Africa. Eyewitness News understands she had at least two sessions with the governing party’s watchdog – which assess the impact of the actions of its members on the organisation.

The African National Congress (ANC)’s integrity commission’s investigation into the now former Speaker of Parliament Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula has been concluded and submitted to the secretary general’s office.

So revealed the party on Thursday, shortly after the Pretoria Magistrates Court granted Mapisa-Nqakula R50,000 bail in her corruption case.She is accused of receiving kickbacks of more the R4 million from a defence contractor when she was the Minister of Defence.

Mapisa-Nqakula faces 12 counts of corruption and one of money laundering.

Eyewitness News understands she had at least two sessions with the governing party’s watchdog – which assess the impact of the actions of its members on the organisation.

The report is expected to be tabled at the next national working committee of the ANC.
