Africa-Press – South-Africa. The African National Congress (ANC) says its National Executive Committee (NEC) member, Senzo Mchunu, will appear before the party’s Integrity Commission.
ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula gave the outcomes of the National Working Committee meeting and responded to questions about party members accused of corruption.
Mchunu is implicated in allegations of interference in the police, which is the subject of the ongoing Madlanga Commission.
While Mbalula confirmed that Mchunu must appear before the party’s accountability body, he did not say when.
“Senzo and whoever implicated will appear before the integrity commission. The Integrity Commission does not announce its work, but I can assure you that he will appear before the Integrity Commission.”
