Africa-Press – South-Africa. The African National Congress (ANC) said its members deployed to provincial and national government must work closely with the party’s public representatives at the local level to improve service delivery.
Following a gathering with councillors last week, the ANC is holding a report back session at the Turffontein Race Course in Johannesburg on Sunday.
The session is aimed at providing political guidance and strengthening service delivery commitments at the local government level.
ANC Gauteng deputy co-ordinator Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko said improving service delivery outcomes at local government is the responsibility of all party deployees.
“Don’t work alone, we are all in this together, we are all here as the anc. We are going to work and make sure we change the lives of the people. All the people want in communities is the service we must provide as the organisation and we must provide those services, even with the little resources we have.”
